About
Brianna Borghi is an on-air reporter for WCVB in Boston with a nose for news, love for storytelling, and knack for social media content creation. She was previously a reporter/fill-in anchor for NBC5 in Burlington, VT where she covered everything from politics to education to crime, but her passion lies in arts and culture reporting.
Prior to NBC5, Brianna worked at NBC'S TODAY as a Production Assistant. She is also an alumnus of NBCUniversal's prestigious Page Program, where she contributed to teams within Corporate Communications Production, the TODAY Show, and USA Marketing Production, in addition to working at SNL during the Fall 2019 season.
Brianna graduated from the University Honors Program at The George Washington University with a major in Journalism and Mass Communication in the School of Media and Public Affairs and a minor in Political Science. Brianna served two-years as a senator on the GW Student Association, was an Honors Program Peer Advisor, and served as the Membership Education Vice President of Alpha Delta Pi Sorority.
Brianna spent six years honing her skills in broadcast journalism through internships with NBC4 Washington, the CBS Evening News, Dateline NBC, MSNBC's Meet the Press Daily, WCVB (ABC's Boston affiliate), local cable channels, the Young Broadcasters of America, and specialized collegiate courses. She found her love for on-camera reporting in high school while interning at a local cable channel and producing her own school news show, and has been hooked ever since.
